NGPC June Meeting

Our speaker will be professional nature photographer David Akoubian, who will be discussing “The Landscape Image.” Join David as he shares his techniques and images for capturing the “classic” landscape image. David has continued to use his experience as a film photographer into the age of digital to capture images with little post processing needed after the exposure. David considers himself a “classic nature photographer” utilizing light, weather and compositional elements in his image design. David believes in simplifying an image. Come be inspired with images and easy techniques.

David Akoubian is a professional nature photographer based out of Georgia, but travels extensively photographing and teaching around the United States and Iceland. David has been a professional photographer since 1992, but began photographing in 1972 and has been an instructor since 1993. David is a Tamron Image Master, and his work is widely published in books, magazines, calendars and on websites.
