The NGPC was formed in 2013 on the campus of North Georgia University. Early in 2019 the meetings were moved to the Atlanta Motorsports park near Dawsonville.  It was also at this time that the club introduced paid memberships; non-paid members are always welcome at the meetings and on the Facebook page, however paid memberships have additional benefits.

NGPC members come from all walks of life, and all experience levels from beginners to professionals — membership is open to anyone.  Our members shoot digital, film, point & shoot, rangefinder, video, and cell phones.  It is not even necessary to own a camera, just have an interest in photography.  Annual membership is just $20 for individuals, and $30 for a family.  You can find more details on our membership page.

The club holds monthly meetings that are free and open to the public; everyone is welcome to attend!  We meet on the third Friday of every month at 7:00pm.  We have found a new home at the Bowen Center for the Arts in Dawsonville, or you can attend virtually as well.  Our meetings typically include a photo challenge, tech tips, club announcements, and guest speakers.
