Our speaker will be portrait photographer Melissa Moody, who will be discussing and demonstrating “Frequency Separation.” Melissa uses this technique in at least three different applications, and with this technique, she’s been able to remove wrinkles in clothing, smooth pigments and imperfections in skin, and blend shaded areas.
THIS WILL BE AN INTERACTIVE DEMONSTRATION, SO IF YOU’RE ATTENDING IN PERSON, BRING THE FOLLOWING TO THE MEETING:
– A fully charged laptop with a working version of Adobe Photoshop installed. Frequency Separation uses Filter/Blur/Gaussian Blur and Image/Apply Image, so older versions of Photoshop should still work.
– A high quality photo that has a predominant face in it.
