Member requested, this will be NGPC’s mini version of the (postponed) annual NG3G Shootout! (If unfamiliar, a “shootout” is like a photographic scavenger hunt. Specific topics, limited time to find and shoot them, compete for prizes! This year, vintage cameras and CASH are up for grabs!)
Please find our group in front of the Museum by 8am, when 3 random topics will be drawn and announced! Instruction handouts will be provided at that time as well. (You’ll need this info.)
Suggested parking lot: 57 Warwick St., about a block from the museum – though additional parking areas exist nearby.
BEFORE YOU GET THERE: be sure your camera date and time are accurate! Entries MUST have been captured within the 3 hour designated time period.
Shoot in and around the area for up to 3 hours from the time Mike releases us with our topics. Also, please bring a pen! Shootout participants will be given final instructions on a slip of paper, which will include a space to jot down your assigned “photographer number”, and the names of the 3 topics. This page will be handy during the event, but you’ll really need it later when you edit and submit your images.
Winners will be chosen for each topic, first thru third for a total of 9 prizes!
You’ll have plenty of time to edit and upload your best shots later that day / night, so feel free to hang out and grab lunch with your friends once the shooting is done!
