NGPC March Meeting

Our speaker will be professional photographer and NGPC member Travis Rhoads, who will be discussing “Beyond the Big Picture.” Wide angle photography can become very limiting both creatively and compositionally. It can be light dependent and reliant on good atmospheric conditions to play a part in making a successful image. As photographers our creativity can be stretched when we go Beyond THE Big Picture. Intimate landscapes, abstracts, close up and macro photography give us more opportunities to create impactful images. In this presentation we will talk about the compositional tools, physical tools and concepts of photographing scenes that go Beyond the Big Picture. The intent is to change the mindset into seeing and photographing more unique and creative compositions.
